When Not To Begin Potty Training
Potty training can be a stressful experience for you and your child. It is advisable to start with the potty training when your child has an established daily routine and is not using any additional stress. Potty training should be the only major change in the life of your child.
If your baby shows signs of potty training readiness, ask yourself if there are any of the following situations:
Birth - Although the idea of double diaper needs duty may be overwhelming, your child time toAdapting to the new baby before you start potty training.
Divorce or separation - divorce or separation is always stressful for children. Your child can live in two different homes or under two different sets of rules. When things calm down, share your potty training plan so that you are aware of both the intention of the other person are, and can work together for the benefit of your child.
New daycare / baby sitter - If your child has recently switched to wait days or babysitter care, a fewWeeks / months (depending on how your child adapts) before you begin the potty training.
New rooms or bed - Small changes, like a new bedroom or bed, can make a big impact on your child. Wait until your child adjust to his new bed before you start potty training.
