What to Bring to the Hospital When You Visit a New Mom

A new baby is coming ... much fun! You want to visit the new mother and child in the hospital. W hat do you need? If you are bringing a gift, or wait until they come home? If you have a gift for the newborn? The mother? The older siblings? To consider many questions considered. But since I have had three children and visited many more in the hospital I give you some tips that worked for me.

The perfect gift when you visit the hospital is simply time. Spend time with the new mother, babyand be sure to take a camera. My favorite newborn shots taken to the hospital and given to me by my visitors. In retrospect, "as had borne little or actually visited the babies. The first snapshot to commemorate the event are great to keep and look back on over the years to grow a little. A special gift indeed! Spend time with the small type mom is a necessary pause | while in the hospital. Sending father drink a coffee or give him a chance to run home and shower. If you have time, she likes to give the new family. The food is always a good gift even when you visit the hospital! Snacks for the room are handy and chocolate chip cookies for mom, dad and siblings who does not like good chocolate chip cookies?

If the new mother comes home, bringing the best gift is a meal or a housekeeper. Young mothers are too busy to cook and clean and have someone do that for them is such a relief! Of course, cute little sleepers or outfits are good too. If itare siblings at home, you might want to look a little something for the older children - coloring book, ball, rope jumping, something that will occupy the older brother or sister, while mom takes care of the newborn. Personalized gifts are especially good when the baby brothers or sisters. It's nice to have something new and just for them and their name on it makes it very special.

As you can see small things are the best gifts to give to new mothers and tots time, food, aOutfit, whatever fits your budget. As always, it's the thought that counts in gift!
